CORPORATE TEAM John Cruz, Executive Vice President Hotel Operations John is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the company’s portfolio of hotels, guest satisfaction, EBITDA, and associate retention and satisfaction. His 25+ years of hospitality industry experience enable him to provide guidance on the direction and performance of a wide variety of hotels including full service, select service, and extended stay. John’s prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of operations for an independent management company, as well as, time spent at several of the major brands including Marriott, Westin, Radisson, and the Sands Hotel & Casino. John is especially adept at developing strategies to improve operational performance efficiencies, and managing distressed and turn around hotels. He possesses expertise in associate and labor relations, due diligence on take over projects, and has also served as an asset manager. John attended Suffolk University
and C.W. Post College.
