Imagine
a well executed launch that brings short term and long
term success to a hotel. At PMHS we have a dedicated division
that works on doing just that. The Pre-Opening Division ensures
all new hotels open efficiently and very quickly become leaders
in Rate and Occupancy in the market.
Headed by Vice President of New Hotel
Openings, this division is responsible for the operational
readiness of new hotel properties prior to opening. The Pre-opening
role does not conclude there. We monitor and support the hotel
management from soft opening, through the stabilization period
and well after the Grand Opening celebrations.
The Pre-opening effort begins with the development of detailed
budgets. During the Design Development phase PMHS performs
a comprehensive review of architectural plans including working
with consultants to specify I.T. requirements while ensuring
compliance with brand Standards.
This is followed by assembling a team of key personnel who
work tirelessly building relationships in the area and the
community. At PMHS we are committed to community involvement
in a manner that positively and tangibly benefits both our
business and the community.
Forming close ties with the community and the demand generators
is the beginning of a sustained Sales and Marketing undertaking
that includes strategic business solicitations, Revenue Management
and E-Distribution initiatives. During this time and beyond
we work to fully exploit the resources of the brand. This
partnership (with the brand) is critical for our mutual success.
Finally, no stone is left unturned to find and recruit best
in class associates that go through an in depth orientation
/ training so they are ready to perform from the opening day
when the first guest walks through the doors of a new hotel.
